The oldest school of social work in the country, Simmons School of Social Work (SSW) was founded in 1904 as a joint venture with Harvard University. Today, SSW offers a rigorous clinical social work curriculum that prepares students for direct practice with individuals, groups, and families.

SocialWork@Simmons, our MSW program delivered online, is accredited by CSWE and features a flexible online format with live, online classes; engaging, self-paced coursework; and field experiences in or near students' own communities. SocialWork@Simmons' faculty and staff are committed to supporting and guiding students during their program and throughout their social work careers.

The online MSW offers a range of program options to meet the needs of all students:
