The first school of clinical social work in the country, Simmons School of Social Work (SSW) was founded in 1904 as a joint venture with Harvard University. Today, SSW offers a rigorous clinical social work curriculum that prepares students for direct practice with individuals, groups, and families.
SocialWork@Simmons, our Master of Social Work (MSW) program delivered online, is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and features live, online classes; engaging, self-paced coursework; and virtual and in-person field experiences in or near students’ own communities. SocialWork@Simmons faculty and staff are committed to supporting and guiding students during their program and throughout their social work careers.
